The Raspberry Pi (an ARM GNU/Linux box for $25) might be released at 00:00:00 CST on February 29th!
Mozilla released a video demo of their Boot to Gecko project yesterday. I’m usually against mobile computing (iPad/tablets, browsing on a mobile phone, etc) simply because I believe computing should be done on a desktop with a nice full keyboard and optional mouse. This time, however, Mozilla has managed to spark my interest. I’m excited to see what a web standards-based phone will be capable of. I’m also happy that it won’t be yet another platform for developers to support – any web app should work automatically.
Head over to Arstechnica for more screenshots!
It’s been almost two months since my last update. It’s not that I’ve been busy, I just didn’t have anything interesting to talk about.
